Sweet Home, 2022
Trixie Tan Lu Man was born in 1992 in Thailand. She went on to pursue a Diploma in Fine Arts at the Dasein Academy of Art, which she completed in 2014. She got her first taste of life as a artist in the same year when she joined a group exhibition titled “Catalysis Contemporary Art” organized by Dasein Fine Art. She also participation in festival residency program in the same year. In 2013 she won Silver Award in the emerging artist category at the UOB Painting of the Year competition and 2015 she took part in the artist residency program in Bali initiated by G13 Gallery. She has participated in a number of group shows and had her first solo exhibition “Blossom” at HOM Art Trans in 2017. In Trixie’s painting, images of female with flowers and animals are rich in symbolism and open to myriad interpretation. She also captured and cherished the beautiful and natural objects that can be observed without the pressure time.
